“Three Words That Turned a Rescue Mission into a Heartwarming Tale”
The trajectory of Suzette Hall’s day took an unexpected turn when she received a phone call with three magical words: “We got him.” As the founder of Logan’s Legacy dog rescue, she immediately sprang into action and rushed to I-710 in Los Angeles.
For several weeks, Suzette Hall and her rescue partners had been tirelessly attempting to rescue a frightened dog stranded along the highway. Although neighbors confirmed that the dog had been there for months, no one had been able to get close enough to rescue him.
“He would cry and bark for people to notice him,” Hall recalled.
This heartwarming story began when residents first noticed the pup in May and started leaving food out for him. After enjoying some kibble, the lonely dog would retreat to the highway’s shoulder and fall asleep alone. Then, one day, something extraordinary happened.
