A lost puppy was located 310 miles from home and returned to his family.
Two-year-old Malipois shepherd Badit disappeared from his home in Côte-d’Or in Jυпe last year (France).
Farid, their owner, was upset and spent months trying to find his dogs’ closest friends.
Fortunately, he wasted several months in vain. Still. Eight months later, Badit was discovered by an ice thief on the side of the road.
When the puppy was only 4 months old, it was stolen.
The dog was lucky enough to have a microchip, which allowed his owner to locate him after he was found without a collar 310 miles from his home.
The two closest friends were delighted to see each other again, and the meeting was well organized.
Thanks to the shelter’s incredible life-saving efforts, a thoughtful stray, and a microchip, Badit and Farid are able to coexist in harmony.
Farid was quick to follow Badit’s path as soon as he learned the good banks.
He said: “I am so grateful to everyone who helped him get better, and I cannot stress how important it is to chip your dogs.” Without that chip, the miracle of bringing Badit home would not have been possible. One of the happiest days of my life was the day Badit came home.
Watch the touching video of the two friends below. Farid revealed this and said that although they had come a long way to be together, she was happy to see her dog again.
