Dominik Szoboszlai was one of the standout players in the Bundesliga last season and is also of interest to Newcastle United. According to Athletic, Liverpool are considering a deal to sign him this summer.

The Kop have met with Szoboszlai’s agent and Jurgen Klopp is excited about the deal. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, on June 30 (Friday this week), Szoboszlai’s £60 million release clause will expire .

So Liverpool must act quickly if they want to avoid the risk of Leipzig increasing the fee for one of their top talents.

Szoboszlai is an important target in Jurgen Klopp’s plan to add midfield personnel, alongside Khephren Thuram at Nice and Romeo Lavia on the Southampton payroll.
