Journalist Ben Jacobs says Liverpool are considering a plan to sign Armel Bella-Kotchap this summer. The 21-year-old midfielder is impressing in the colors of Southampton club.
Notably, Liverpool are not alone in pursuing Bella-Kotchap. Journalist Dean Jones, quoting from Caughtoffside, revealed Arsenal was another club that wanted to win the 2001 defender’s signature. Specifically, Jones shared:
” Liverpool have had an eye on Bella-Kotchap before, I don’t know if they’re interested in him again, but they have pursued him before. Arsenal could totally reconsider the deal because they might have to. sign a centre-back. It will be interesting to see if they spark interest .”

The £17m-rated defender is an extraordinary talent after his performances in the Premier League. Liverpool will have to bring in a quality long-term replacement for Joel Matip.
