According to Fabrizio Romano, scouts from Man Utd, Liverpool and Newcastle United traveled to France to watch Jean Clair Todibo play in Nice’s 2-1 win over Rennes last Saturday.

Todibo is being watched by many big players in the Premier League.
Todibo has previously played for Barcelona, Schalke and Benfica after graduating from the Toulouse academy in 2018. The 23-year-old has impressed this season by appearing in 30 of Nice’s 33 games in Ligue I. Romano claims that Todibo will cost around 45 million euros (£39 million).
Romano wrote on Twitter: “Please understand that Newcastle, Manchester United and Liverpool scouts have come to watch the Nice-Rennes match to watch Jean Clair Todibo. The French midfielder could move to a top club this summer – at a price understood to be around 45 million euros.”
At the moment, Man Utd coach Erik Ten Hag is keen to strengthen the defense after the injuries of the main defenders Raphaël Varane and Lisandro Martínez. In addition to their pursuit of Todibo, the Red Devils are also linked with Monaco’s Axel Disasi.
